Kamen Kanev

Hello,

I am currently going to translate one of our websites ci-l.com, via One Hour Translation service. I'd like to give them access to the translation interface via WPML, so they can work directly on the website.

I have the following questions:
- Our website is part of a multi-site environment, will this be an issue?
- We are using WP Bakery page builder, will this be an issue?
- Should we already duplicate all page from English to German, since they are currently not duplicated. Check the two attachments on how those pages appear.

regards,
Kamen

Hello,

Thank you for contacting WPML Support. I will be glad to help with this and i will try to answer your questions in the order.

But i will start by the fact that OneHour will not access your WPML interface. Translation jobs will be sent through our Translation Proxy to OneHour servers. OneHour translators will be using their own user interface for translation. Once the translation are ready, they will be pushed automatically or fetched manually to your website depending on your "translation pickup mode". Read our article on how to use OneHour
https://wpml.org/translation-service/onehourtranslation/

- Our website is part of a multi-site environment, will this be an issue? No, WPML should work as expected for a standalone wordpress install or for a site under a multisite install.

- We are using WP Bakery page builder, will this be an issue?
WPML will extract the textes that needs translation before sending it to OneHour.

- Should we already duplicate all page from English to German, since they are currently not duplicated. Check the two attachments on how those pages appear.
You won't need to duplicate the pages if you want to send them to translation. The workflow will be as follow.
- Add translation jobs to Translation basket through WPML->Translation Management.
- Send translation basket to OneHour.
Once the translation are ready, they will be pushed automatically or fetched manually.
