This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem: The user would like to translate URL params. See this example, he wants to translate "neuf" to "new".

fr = https://domain.com/?neuf=1 => en =https://domain.com/en/?new=1 Solution: This is not supported by WPML. Either ask a feature request or contact a partner Relevant Documentation: https://wpml.org/suggest-a-new-feature-for-wpml/ https://wpml.org/contractors/

Hello,

I can not find out how to translate url parameter.
I know how to preserve them but not how to translate.

Example:

fr = hidden link => en =hidden link
I'd like to translate the parameter in the correct language.

The language dropdown keeps original parameter key and I want to translate the key.

Any Idea ?
Thank you.

Hello,

Thank you for contacting WPML Support. I will be glad to help with this.

I don't think this use case is supported by WPML. Checking our Developer API, I could not find a hook that you may use to get what you want.
https://wpml.org/documentation/support/wpml-coding-api/wpml-hooks-reference/

You may ask this feature and our developers will evaluate it and check if it could be added soon https://wpml.org/suggest-a-new-feature-for-wpml/

I believe that this could be done with a custom development that is out of the scope of this forum. Here the page of our partners that may help you get it done.

Hello,

I've send a suggestion to your teams.
WPML should be able to translate anything and I believe that this feature should be part of the core of the plugin 😉

Regards
