Thank you so much for the help. I have another question: how do I translate the menu + header/footer/form text?

Hello,

To translate the menu, please follow the video in this article on how to sync menus accros languages.
https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/translating-menus/

To translate the header, specifically (Email us), this has to be translated as a theme option, you can read more about it on this article.
https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/translating-theme-options/
I preferred to use a configuration file as discussed here https://wpml.org/documentation/support/language-configuration-files/#admin-texts
So i added the following code.

<wpml-config>
    <admin-texts>
        <key name="theme_mods_fundrize">
            <key name="header_aside_info_two" />
            <key name="header_aside_button_text" />
        </key>
    </admin-texts>
</wpml-config>

According to this article https://wpml.org/documentation/support/language-configuration-files/overriding-language-configuration-files/
Both strings are now available to translation under the domain "admin_texts_theme_mods_fundrize".

Let me know if this answers your question.

Jamal

Thank you so much it all worked but do you know how I can change the styling of the header/menu styling from l-t-r to right to left since my site is in Arabic? Most of the site did an automatic shift except the header/menu/footer and contact form.

Also the footer widgets aren't all translating. Only 1 out of four picked up the translation although it says translation complete for all of them.

Thanks

Hello,

You are welcome, so to switch the header to right, i managed to build this css code.

html[dir="rtl"] #site-logo {
    float: right;
}
html[dir="rtl"] #header-aside {
    float: left !important;
}
html[dir="rtl"] #top-bar .languages-switcher, html[dir="rtl"] #top-bar .languages-switcher .inner {
    float: left;
}

I have added it to WPML->Languages->Language switcher options->Additional CSS. And it seems to get what is desired. Please note that i only tested with chrome in my screen. It may give other results in other browsers or screen resolutions. In this case please ask the theme developer to help with this, and eventually join our Go Global Program https://wpml.org/documentation/theme-compatibility/go-global-program/

For the form issue, i will be posting my reply, in the form ticket.
For the widget issues, i have split a new ticket and i will be posting my reply there.

If I wanted to translate the the "subscribe" text in the footer, i followed the instructions in the article but it doesn't seem to be working so I'd like to try your way and I've written this code but I'm not sure where exactly to paste it:

<wpml-config>
<admin-texts>
<key name="subscribe_subtitle">
<key name="subscribe_title" />
<key name="instagram_section" />
</key>
</admin-texts>
</wpml-config>

Sorry that was incorrect, the correct one is:

<wpml-config>
<admin-texts>
<key name="theme_mods_fundrize">
<key name="subscribe_subtitle"/>
<key name="subscribe_title" />
<key name="instagram_section" />
</key>
</admin-texts>
</wpml-config>

Hello,

The code seems correct to me. After i added it to WPML->Settings->Custom XML Configuration, i was able to translate the entries in WPML->String Translation. See attached images.

Please make resolved ticket as resolved, we currently have 5 tickets and none of them is resolved yet. Would you please mark completed tickets as resolved ?
