I want to translate multiple pages/posts at once using the machine translator. I also want to be sure to avoid translating past revisions of any page/post - only the most recent. Could you advise please - as it seems only possible to translate one post at a time, PLUS it seems the machine translation wants to translate the revisions as well.

Thank you for contacting WPML Support. I will be glad to help with this.
It is correct, only one page/post can be translated through Machine translation in the Advanced Translation Editor(ATE).
If you notice that ATE is trying to translate a revision, I assume because you start translating a page, and you have edited the original page(which creates a revision) before completing the translation in ATE. So ATE is still trying to translate the old content that is now a revision.
I hope this answers your questions. Let me know if you still need information. And feel free to ask for any feature in this form https://wpml.org/suggest-a-new-feature-for-wpml/
