Hello,

Thank you for contacting WPML Support. I would like to request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to your site to take better look at the issue. You will find the needed fields for this below the comment area when you log in to leave your next reply. The information you will enter is private which means only you and I can see and have access to it.

Our Debugging Procedures

I will be checking various settings in the backend to see if the issue can be resolved. Although I won't be making changes that affect the live site, it is still good practice to backup the site before providing us access. In the event that we do need to debug the site further, I will duplicate the site and work in a separate, local development environment to avoid affecting the live site.

Privacy and Security Policy

We have strict policies regarding privacy and access to your information. Please see:
https://wpml.org/purchase/support-policy/privacy-and-security-when-providing-debug-information-for-support/

**IMPORTANT**

- Please make a backup of site files and database before providing us access.
- If you do not see the wp-admin/FTP fields this means your post & website login details will be made PUBLIC. DO NOT post your website details unless you see the required wp-admin/FTP fields. If you do not, please ask me to enable the private box. The private box looks like this: hidden link

Please, let me know if you need any additional details. Have a nice day.

Hello,

Thank you for the updates and sorry for the bit of waiting due the weekend. I too a closer look in your website and noticed you still don't have translations for your menu items, please refer to: https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/translating-menus/. If you still see any issue happening while adding a translated menu item, please, disable all the plugins except the WPML related ones and add the menu items activating one plugin at a time untill the possible culprit one is found. As regarding the internal server error, can you please confirm if you are able to replicate it when keeping the plugins deactivated except the WPML related ones? In some case the error is related to either a plugin conflict or even not enough server resources. Please, make sure your server environment meets our requirement as described at: https://wpml.org/home/minimum-requirements/. Please, let me know the instructions above help to fix your issue. Have a nice day.

Hello,

Thank you for the updates. The cause of the menu and 500 internal server error seems to be related with a conflict of some third party plugin or the theme being used. Please, try the following:

1 - Disable all the plugins except the WPML related ones from your WordPress Dashboard > Plugins settings and try to add your menu items again, also please, confirm if you still see the 500 internal server error at hidden link. If the issue is solved activate one plugin at a time untill the culprit one is found.

2 - If the issue persists please, temporary change to a default WordPress theme from your WordPress Dashboard > Themes settings and try to add your menu items again and also, please confirm if you still the 500 internal server error at hidden link.

IMPORTANT: Please, note, a backup is required for security reasons and to avoid any data loss, you can use the https://wordpress.org/plugins/backupwordpress/ plugin for these backup needs.

Please, let me know if it solves your issue. Have a nice day.

Hello,

Thank you for the updates. As it is not possible to list translated posts and pages for the default language menu (english in your case), your are only able to achieve your desired result with custom links, here are the full details:

1 - In your WordPress Dashboard > Appearance > Menus click to add a 'custom link' menu item. See attached screenshot.

2 - For the 'URL' field of the custom link settings enter the full url of the translated page. For example: hidden link

3 - For the 'Link text' field of the custom link settings enter the page/post title. For example: هلسيدفنالمسيح (عليهالسلام) فيالمدينةالمنورةإلىجوارالنبيمحمد (عليهالصلاةوالسلام)؟

4 - Click to add the menu item and drag it as subitem of your desired parent menu, in your case: hidden link

Repeat the steps above for all the other items you need to include in your default language navigation. Please, let me know if you need any additional clarifications regarding this approach. Have a nice day.
