Hi there,

For some reason the slugs has been translated. Now I can't change them. I've changed the settings at Translated documents options for Page URL to Translate (this will include the slug in the translation and not create it automatically from the title).

No URL appears, see my upload.

Thanks for helping me,

When you change these settings, it is important to refresh the existing translations so the new configuration is applied to them.

To do this:

1. Make a small change to the original content (for example, add a letter to the title)
2. Update the page
3. Revert the change and update the page again
4. Then open the translation and complete it if needed

This process triggers WPML to refresh the translation job and apply the updated settings.

Hi Andrey,

Thanks for helping me.

After making changes to a page, saving them, reverting the changes and then hoping to see a URL field to translate. But no URL field was available.

See my video:

Thanks again,

Thank you for contacting WPML support, Remco.

I need to request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to your site—preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible—in order to be of better help. When you log in to leave your next reply, you will find the needed fields below the comment area. The information you will enter is private, meaning only you and I can see and access it.
