I am trying to: Duplicate a Post from english to german. Iam getting the Update Failed Error.

Or - I make a new post and then try to duplicate it - it says update ok but does not create a duplicate of my english post.

Link to a page where the issue can be seen:

I expected to see:
A duplicate of my Post.

Instead, I got:
No duplicate - Error Message or something else.

I tired:
Disabiling Plugins
Empty Cache
Go for New Post (Error message is gone but still does not create new post)

Could you please show a screenshot of the error message you are getting when you do this?

Your WP Memory limit is not enough and other values do not look real: hidden link
I think you have to check your server log with your hosting support as well.

Hi,

There is Screenshot - When I check the box it will not create a new post in German.
Any reason why?

I will check the Wp memory as well.

Plugin conflict
Could you please disable all the plugins and check this?

Minimal Setup
If you disable all non-related WPML plugins, switch to one of the default themes like twenty seventeen, the problem persists or not?
NOTE:
+ Make a backup (both files and database) for your site before updating/proceeding anything (Always a good practice!).

Console Errors
In your chrome browser Press Ctrl + Shift + J (Windows / Linux) or Cmd + Opt + J (Mac) before you go to this step.
Check if you see any red errors here : hidden link and let me know.

Debugging
1. Please follow the debugging information provided here: https://wpml.org/documentation/support/debugging-wpml/#enabling-the-built-in-debugging-feature-in-wordpress.
2. Repeat the action of creating the problem.
3. Copy and paste the contents of debug.log (log file inside the /wp-content/ directory) here for me to see

Also, do not forget to check the memory issue as well.

and now the whole website is down and unreachable through the admin login.

- do this via FTP/cPanel.
- then visit to your site/wp-admin page
- you see some error messages as explained above.
- let me know them.
