[Resolved] I cant see Yoast SEO in "Translation Dashboard" under Products
This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem: The client is unable to see the Yoast SEO section in the WPML Translation Dashboard under Products, despite having activated all relevant plugins and scanned them for strings. The client expects to see SEO fields such as title and meta descriptions for Products easily accessible for translation.
Solution: 1. Confirm that Yoast SEO and all its relevant modules (like Yoast SEO: WooCommerce) are activated. 2. Go to WPML -> Theme and Plugins Localization, select Yoast SEO and related plugins, and click on Scan the selected plugins for strings. 3. After the scan, check the WPML -> Translation Dashboard. If the Yoast SEO section still does not appear under Products, navigate to WPML -> Translation Dashboard and scroll down to Other texts (Strings). 4. In the All domains dropdown, select wordpress-seo and choose the strings you want to translate. 5. If you still do not see the Yoast strings, go to WPML -> String Translation, set the domain filter to wordpress-seo, and verify if the strings appear there. 6. If issues persist, it may be necessary to check for compatibility issues between WPML and Yoast versions, or a need for an additional WPML SEO addon.
If this solution does not resolve your issue or seems outdated, we recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If problems continue, please open a new support ticket at WPML support forum for further assistance.

Hello,
My name is Carlos, and I will continue working on this ticket
I kindly ask you to describe what you are trying to translate and what is the behavior you are expecting that is not happening on the site. This will help me identify if there is an issue.
I’m having an issue with WPML and Yoast SEO integration.
In WPML → Translation Management / String Translation, I cannot see the Yoast SEO tab or the Yoast SEO fields that should normally appear for translation (SEO title, meta description, schema, etc.).
Here’s what I checked already:
Yoast SEO and Yoast Premium are installed and active.
WPML plugins are installed and active.
I scanned the plugins/themes for strings in WPML → Theme and Plugins Localization.
In String Translation → “Select strings within domain”, I can see:
wordpress-seo
wordpress-seo-premium
yoast-local-seo
other Yoast domains
However, the dedicated Yoast translation tab/options are still missing.
I attached screenshots showing:
The Translation Management screen where the Yoast tab is missing.
The String Translation domains where Yoast domains are detected.
Could you please check:
if there is a compatibility issue between the current WPML and Yoast versions,
whether an additional WPML SEO addon is required,
or if there is a known issue causing the Yoast translation interface not to appear?
The Yoast custom fields for the content are available for translation when translating the content, not within the String Translation section. Is that what you are referring to when you said "the Yoast tab is missing"?
I can see the issue now. However, this tab appears when you are trying to translate the taxonomy SEO metadata.
Please share the access credentials to your site in your next message, which I have set private. This will allow me to reproduce the issue and double-check the WPML configuration.
Confirm you have created a full site backup that you can restore if necessary.
1.- Before we continue, I kindly ask you to update all outdated plugins and themes that appear outdated in this link: hidden link
The outdated functionalities can cause conflicts in the code.
The meta description and the SEO information of the products are translated with the product information. So, when you translate a product, you will find the Yoast fields to translate too.
