Tell us what you are trying to do?
I'm configuring WPML for the first time and I doesn't have any menu created in wordpress for the site, just the visual theme menu.

Is there any documentation that you are following?

Is there a similar example that we can see?

What is the link to your site?

Thank you for contacting WPML Support. You have several ways of showing a language switcher in your website frontend, you can show it in a widget area of your website, in a footer area and also in an existing menu, in this case you should have an existing menu assigned to some menu area of your theme, then you will be able to attach a language switcher to your desired menu as you can read at:

Please, let me know if you need any additional instructions and clarifications. Have a nice day.
