I am trying to: Translate 3 pages created by ListingPro to no success!

wp-content\plugins\listingpro-plugin\shortcodes\submit.php

wp-content\plugins\listingpro-plugin\shortcodes\edit.php

\wp-content\plugins\listingpro-plugin\inc\submit-ajax.php

Link to a page where the issue can be seen:

hidden link -> + Agregar Listado button in the top right corner... If you click on it you will see what I mean.

I expected to see: the submit your listing page in Spanish..

Instead, I got: the submit your listing in both languages with a redirect to the English Site... Very Frustrating...

I wanted to solve this myself without disturbing you guys but I can't...

Hello,

Thank you for contacting us. Please, my sincere apologies for the delay in answering.

I tried to access your website, but unfortunately, this error message appears: ERROR: The password you entered for the username **** is incorrect. Lost your password?

On the backend, were these pages (submit-listing) created in Pages > All Pages? If yes, have you tried translating these pages?

If the problem persists, please could you recheck the credentials? Your next message will be private.

Thank you.

I just wrote a post but cannot see it...

I guess I need to get used to this support system.

Can you see the new credentials I've added?

Yes, I received the credentials. When the message is private, you should see your message "minimized", highlighted, below my last message.

About the problem, to fix it, I followed the steps below:

- Click on the WPML > Translation Management > Custom XML configuration
- Insert these lines:

<wpml-config>
    <admin-texts>
        <key name="listingpro_options">
            <key name="submit-listing" />
            <key name="listing-author" />
            <key name="edit-listing" />
            <key name="pricing-plan" /></key>
    </admin-texts>
</wpml-config>

- Click on the Save button
- Click on the WPML > String Translation
- Translate the strings (insert the correct links to the secondary language). I have inserted the link for the submission of listings, for you to see.

Please, let me know if I can help with any other questions you may have. I'll be happy to help.

Thank you.

Thank you very much Bruno... Works Great!

I have tried to do the same as you have shown me... with my own additions

<wpml-config>
<admin-texts>
<key name="listingpro_options">
<key name="listing" />
<key name="listing-category" />
<key name="location" />
<key name="features" />
<key name="submit-listing" />
<key name="listing-author" />
<key name="edit-listing" />
<key name="pricing-plan" /></key>
</admin-texts>
</wpml-config>

Because in the same page:
hidden link

Beside the key name="submit-listing", key name="listing-author", key name="edit-listing", and key name="pricing-plan",

I have "listing", "listing-category", "location", and "features" that I cannot translate to save my life 🙁

I have registered these other strings. Please note that I am not sure if this should be compatible with WPML at this time.

That's because when you use these custom slugs, this changes the permalinks with "dynamic" slugs and this may not work as expected. You may need to keep these slugs the same in both languages at this time.

Please, after translating these custom slugs, let me know if this works correctly.

Here is the final code:

<wpml-config>
    <admin-texts>
        <key name="listingpro_options">
            <key name="listing_slug" />
            <key name="listing_cat_slug" />
            <key name="listing_loc_slug" />
            <key name="listing_features_slug" />
            <key name="submit-listing" />
            <key name="listing-author" />
            <key name="edit-listing" />
            <key name="pricing-plan" /></key>
    </admin-texts>
</wpml-config>

Please, let me know if I can help with any other questions you may have. I'll be happy to help.

Thank you.

You were right Bruno... It did not work (404)... You're good M8! I am not going to ask you how you find the keys' names... I've tried... because I know you're busy...
Perhaps when your load of work is lesser, you remember then that I am still puzzled with this side of WPML 🙂 Anyways, I wanted to thank you for your beautiful work and I wish you well.
So long M8,
and Best Regards,
Philippe
