This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem: The user was not able to update WPML plugins Solution: Go to Dashboard->Updates and click on the button to check updates. Then go to Plugins->Add New->Commercial(tab) and update WPML Multilingual CMS first, then update the other plugins.

This is the technical support forum for WPML - the multilingual WordPress plugin.

Everyone can read, but only WPML clients can post here. WPML team is replying on the forum 6 days per week, 22 hours per day.

After updating WPML, I have the message that updates for
sitepress-multilingual-cms, wpml-string-translation and wpml-translation-management are needed.
I expected those to be updated automatically, as the website is registered, but that is not the case.
I downloaded the zip files, and tried to install them, but could not over write the old versions.

I am hesitating in removing the old versions by hand, and uploading the new versions....
