Hello,

to achieve this for the language switcher in the menu please go to WPML -> Languages -> Menu Language Switcher and click on the "pencil" icon to edit.

once in the edit screen, switch from a drop down to a horizontal list or vertical list and then uncheck the option to show "current language"

let me know your results

NOTE : if you are not referring to the language switcher , please provide me with some additional information so i can better understand the issue.

Hello,

unfortunately this is not supported with a drop-down language switcher "out of the box" and it requires a list.

you might be able to look into creating a custom language switcher https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/language-setup/custom-language-switcher/

unfortunately we cannot provide any custom work within the forum but we do recommend contacting our 3rd party contractors -> https://wpml.org/contractors/
