i found that _wc_pb_aggregate_weight, _wc_pb_bundled_items_stock_sync_status, _wc_pb_sold_individually_context, _wc_pb_virtual_bundle custom fields were set to don't translate. I set them to copy now and it works. this must have automatically happen with the latest update because before that it was working ok.
anyway, is there a trick that lets me update all the procucts at once? I hate to make a minor chanhe to an original product then update translation for each language... it takes too much time.
I have some other issue here, where custom tab (youtube video) is not translated. I can copy the field ok, when I save it it looks ok, but when I referesh the page it goes missing.
The issue is specifically with Custom Product Tabs for WooCommerce, if I add the same iframe to product description if works fine.
Custom Product Tabs for WooCommerce is not compatible with WPML and it was removed from WordPress repository due to security issue so the only thing I can suggest here is to use a different plugin. We have WooCommerce Product Tabs or WooCommerce Ultimate Tabs listed as compatible.
When creating this website I was using some other plugin which did not work ok with wpml. I was advised by wpml support to use the one I am using now. this one
I don't know why my colleague recommended that plugin, but if you check the link you can see it's not compatible. The other 2 suggested are compatible and we commit to fix any issues with them.
I'm not sure when this specific plugin was removed from the compatible list, but at the moment, changing it is the only possible solution if you want to get support from us. Otherwise, you can try asking to the author.
I changed a plugin few months ago when wpml told me to do so and installed a plugin recommended by wpml support. so now that I have 400 products in 3 languages I obviuously not want to redo everything.
As I said, I don't know why my colleague suggested that plugin, they shouldn't have to.
I understand your frustration, but we're not going to solve issue for a plugin we consider not compatible. If you're ok editing the page manually please continue to do so, just keep in mind we might not be able to help if issues arise since this isn't the recommended workflow.
