I am trying to: resize a image in french page

URL of (my) website where problem appears:

Eng: hidden link
French: hidden link

I expected to see: i want to see resized image on french page

Instead, I got: original image

Steps to duplicate the issue:
1. navigate and see this page: hidden link - header banner image

-> add_image_size function is not working with translations

Thank you for contacting WPML support. I’ll need a little more information to see what’s happening here.

Why do you think that function isn't working on the second language? As far as I can see they both have almost the same image size. It may depends on how you implemented different modes with add_image_size function such as hard crop or soft crop or unlimited height.

I can see some difference, but it looks like the French image has just longer text on it.

Could you please share with me your add_image_size function? What is the original size of both images?

Do you see resized images in the uploads folder?

Make sure that you uploaded the French image to the libriary after you have added new sizes with add_image_size function. Otherwise you'll need some tool (like https://wordpress.org/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/) to regenerate your images again.
