This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem: The client is trying to import variable products in multiple languages (Danish and German) using a Google Docs template exported as a CSV file. However, only the German variations are being imported as separate products, and none of the Danish variations are imported. Solution: First, ensure that the column titles in your CSV file are correctly formatted for WPML. Incorrect column titles can prevent the correct import of multilingual content. After adjusting the column titles, follow these steps: 1. Import your products using the corrected CSV file. 2. Go to WPML > Export and Import to run the multi-language content process as described in our documentation here: WPML Export and Import.

This is the technical support forum for WPML - the multilingual WordPress plugin.
Everyone can read, but only WPML clients can post here. WPML team is replying on the forum 6 days per week, 22 hours per day.
Background of the issue:
I'm trying to make a Google Docs template that I can use and fill out, then export as a CSV file, and import as new products. The products need to be variable, so that I can have different sizes, like small, medium, and large. They also need to be in multiple languages, Danish and German. I have been using this video, but I just use the WooCommerce native importer, instead of the plugin he is using. hidden link
Symptoms:
No specific issue or error message mentioned.
Questions:
How can I create a Google Docs template for importing variable products in multiple languages using WPML?
What steps should I follow to export the template as a CSV file and import it into WooCommerce?
How can I ensure that the products are correctly imported in both Danish and German?
After having talked with the support chat, we still didn't find a solution. I hope we can figure this out as soon as possible.
Let me know if you need more information from me.
If it still doesn't work on your site, please share the import file that you are using. And I would like to request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to your site to take a better look at the issue. It would be better to have a testing site where the issue is replicated. Your next reply is set to private to share the info.
❌ IMPORTANT: Please backup your database and website before proceeding ❌
You can use this plugin to create the backup: https://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicator/
✙ I would need your permission to de-activate and re-activate Plugins and the Theme to change configurations on the site if needed. This is also a reason the backup is critical.

Hi,
I notice that the column titles _wpml_ in the import file isn't correct. I correct this and import products on your site and it works properly.
Here is the import file URL hidden link
and screen record of importing products hidden link
You will need to open the URL in a new tab to view the screen record.
Great, now the language function with the products seems to be working. However there still seems to be a problem with the variation function.
Right now the two variations are importet as seperate products, instead of being the same product, but with the possibility to choose it in both small(Lille) and Large(Stor).
Is the columns "Attribute Name(pa_size)" and "Attribute Value (pa_size)" wrong?
However, I see that it isn't related to the multilanguage import product issue. So if you see the main issue of this ticket is resolved, please mark it as Resolved.
