Background of the issue:
I am trying to use the WPML Media Translation plugin, which is installed with version 3.0.0. However, the WPML submenu 'Support' indicates that 'WPML Media Not installed'.

Symptoms:
The WPML submenu 'Support' shows 'WPML Media Not installed' despite the plugin being installed.

Questions:
Why does the WPML submenu 'Support' indicate that 'WPML Media Not installed'?
How can I resolve the issue of the plugin not being recognized as installed?

Hi,

Welcome to WPML support. I checked the debug information that you shared and it shows for me that the plugin is installed.

Would you please follow the steps below?

- IMPORTANT STEP! Create a backup of your website. Or better approach will be to test this on a copy/staging version of the website to avoid any disruption of a live website.
- Switch to the default theme such as "TwentyTwenty" by going to "WordPress Dashboard > Appearance > themes".
- Go to "WordPress Dashboard > Plugins" and deactivate all plugins except:
. WPML Multilingual CMS
. WPML String translation
. WPML Media Translation
- Check if you can still recreate the issue.
- If not, re-activate your plugins one by one and check the issue each time to find out the plugin that causes the problem.

Thanks.

All the suggested steps did not resolve the matter. Then I simply uninstalled the plugin "WPML Media Translation" and installed it again. Now it is working better. But WPML is still telling that "WPML Media" is not installed. I suppose that this is a software error of WPML that users cannot fix.
