Hello. Installing this plugin, do I have a country selector that automatically shows me the local currency and language? all this does automatically in a folder within my own domain for example hidden link or hidden link ?? geolocalizes the user automatically? so if they enter from Spain, do I show them the Spanish version? Many thanks

Hi There,

If I understand correctly you are asking if there is an option to automatically redirect a user based on Geolocation.

At the moment this is not a feature of WPML, but we do offer Browser Language Redirection which detects the browser language used by the visitor and redirects accordingly.

For more information on how to achieve Geolocation Redirection please review the following thread

Not exactly.
I reformulate the question then.
I want to have a drop down menu with a country selector, and then depending on that country I can show or not different homepages, and then launch that country with a specific language and currency. Is it possible to do this with your plugin?

Many thanks

Yes, it is possible but it is not a standard feature that is available out of the package.

The WPML plugin offers a language selector that can be added in the front end from where a user will be able to pick their language but if you wish to create the country switcher you described above This will require some custom work that is not covered within the scope of the support.

By default, It is not possible to choose Country since WPML works with languages

But you can change the language tag by visiting Site Languages>>Edit Languages section of WPML>>Languages page for getting the following language codes in URLs.

You can also add new languages from Site Languages>>Edit Languages section.

To associate a currency to each language, you'll need to use the Multicurrency option in WCML:
