This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function icl_get_string_id() in /customers/4/e/3/mysmartwatch.dk/httpd.www/wp-content/plugins/sitepress-multilingual-cms/classes/url-handling/class-wpml-endpoints-support.php:107 Stack trace: #0

Solution:i was able to install and activate WPML plugin and also run the WPML Media setup.

additionally i have reviewed your WP MEMORY LIMIT, if possible please increase it to 256M or higher and update your WP Version to the latest version.

I would like to hear if you could install WPML to my online store?

I had one guy to install the plugin and set it up, but it made so many issues to my site and in the end deleted my site, i have spend to much time on it and we needed to get the shop back, by recover it from backup.
here is the error my site gave when it went down:

Can you install and set it up and make it work 100% without bugs or any other issues to the shop?

i have used many days on this now, and really about to give up and ask for refund, because it is causing me so many issues.

i have already purchased the plugin.

Hello,

are you getting this fatal error when you activate the plugin or when you try to publish a page or product for example ?

If possible i would like to take a closer look at the backend to further test this issue

**Before we proceed I recommend to please take FULL BACKUP of your database and your website.**
I often use the Duplicator plugin for this purpose See: http://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicator/

I would like to request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to your site to
(preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible)

Hi,

there has been serval problems, some issues after installing and setting up the plugin, the issues here where that i could not enter the content of the different pages, it was just gone for each page.

after installing or activating the different things on (see image) the page went totally down.

Furthermore i went to your pages and posts and was able to access the edit page and translations as expected

We did recently have an issue with the latest version of WPML Transaltion management plugin missing some libraries which has been resolved now in the latest release which i just installed on your site.

there is a possibility this was causing the issue.

please let me know if you are still experiencing an issue and if yes let me know how i can reproduce the behavior so i can get a better understanding of the issue

Regarding the "WP MEMORY LIMIT, if possible please increase it to 256M" is this easy to do? Could you maybe tell me where to find this setting option?

i am glad to hear this

Regarding the memory limit you can increase it by going to your wp-config.php file and adding the following

define( 'WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '256M' );

or you can even ask your host provider and they can do it from their side as well

Regarding the Automatic Translation using Advanced Translation Editor i highly recommend to review our documentation here that includes a Youtube Video as well
