hello @tobiasl-11 I am sorry the chat broke up.
I see no summary of the chat and assume it is lost, could you summarize shortly what you see?

I assume, there is a White page or some Error 500 on your website after updating WPML?
I assume, this happens when you update String Translation?

In any case, can you activate WP Debug, and tell us what error you see where, and after what action?
Then we can direct you to a fix or report this immediately to the Developers.
