This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem:
The client is experiencing persistent errors on their website related to translations, even after increasing the PHP memory limit to 384MB as suggested. The issues include the translation page showing English to English instead of German to English, the 'Take and Translate' button reloading the page without any action, and the client not being recognized as a translator in the system.
Solution:
We recommend the following steps to address the issues:
1. Edit a page in the original language, make a small change, and save these changes. Then, update the translation and check if the issue persists.
2. Create a video using tools like Loom or Kommodo to describe the steps you're taking when the error occurs, and share the link with us for better context.
3. Resend the content for translation in WPML -> Translation Dashboard to create a new translation job, ensuring the current job is not corrupted.
4. If you are an administrator, note that you will not appear in the translators tab because your user is automatically added as a translation manager.
Please note that the solution might be irrelevant if it's outdated or not applicable to your case. We highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If the problem persists, please open a new support ticket.
