Background of the issue:
I have some open translation jobs under Translation Jobs with the status 'in progress' that were never sent to ICanLocalize. I want to delete or cancel these jobs.

Symptoms:
When I click on Get translation, I receive the message: 'This action does not apply to any of the selected translation jobs.'

Questions:
How can I remove translation jobs that are stuck in the queue?

i just got informed by icanlocalize as follows:

Hello Paul, I've checked you project and see that all the jobs are completed, including "Imprint": https://www.icanlocalize.com/websites/79226/cms_requests/report Could you please try to click the "Check status and get translations" button on WPML -> Translation Management -> Translation Dashboard? If that doesn't work, it's also worth a try to resend the page for translation. We should complete them automatically and resend them back. If those workarounds don't solve the issue, we will help you import the translations manually. Please provide a WordPress admin account in the fields below, and confirm you have a complete backup of website and database. Kind regards, Irina

But still - lots of translations seams to be in progress (in wpml on site) but nocht viewable in icanlocalize account

Hello,

as said jobs can not be canceled from WPML side, they need to be canceled from Icanlocalize or completed, and then retrieve new status with "Check status and get translations" as Irina explained in the email.

Since you are in communication via email, with Irina you can get back to her like that to cancel or complete the jobs, and I will make sure to ping her also from our side to get back to you on this.

This is Ahmed Mamdouh from the translation proxy team, and I'll help you with this issue.

First, I would like to express my sincere apology for the frustration caused by this issue.

I investigated the issue deeply and I found that the best and the fastest solution for this situation is to re-send those jobs again to local translator from WPML, and the new jobs will overwrite the old ones, and you will be able to cancel them from the translation jobs tab.
