Background of the issue:
We have completed our site with Divi and it was a good experience. We now need to add a Japanese version. We have used WPML but the client needs control over the choice of Japanese fonts and punctuation. It looks like we cannot control this since Japanese does not have the same sentence structure as English. We need to be able to edit what might be bold/italic, for example.

Symptoms:
There is nowhere we can see that we can change fonts in the Japanese version. We can see the little coloured format buttons at the bottom of the box, so have tried deleting the formatting by clicking the X above each formatting button, but nothing happens. And if we try to Save, it gives an error message that we cannot seem to circumvent.

Questions:
How can we change the Japanese fonts for the translated page easily (client may wish to do this so would need to be easy)?
How to edit the formatting of the WPML translated sections?
