I am trying to: Have a home page similar to this one hidden link (language selection) and arrive at my current widgetised home page hidden link (after language selection it should be hidden link or hidden link

How do I pull this of and have

<link rel="alternate" hreflang="x-default" href="<em><u>hidden link</u></em>" />

on the language selection page with the mention of the other languages in hreflang?

Kind regards,
Dominic

Hi Dominic,

Thanks for getting in touch.

What you can try doing is modifying the hreflang so it looks similar to hreflang = "en" for the English translation.

The next step is to use an anchor tag for the language switcher links.
For eg.

  <a hreflang="en" href="<em><u>hidden link</u></em>" />

This will redirect to the English website when the user clicks on the link.
