I am trying to: insert the WPML language switch in the Avada Header layout that I'm using right now (see screenshot)

Link to a page where the issue can be seen:hidden link

I expected to see: If you could be so nice and help me with making this possible. I think it can't be done with a shortcode.

I appreaciate your help,

Bernhard

Hi,

Thank you for contacting WPML support.

May I ask did you enable the switcher in WPML > Languages > menu language switcher?

Also, could you please provide your WPML debug info for better and faster support? https://wpml.org/faq/provide-debug-information-faster-support/

Let me know,

Regards,
Riffaz.

Hi Riffaz,

thank you for your help. It is enabled. The thing is the unique Avada Menue structure. The menue is shown in a drop down menue and there I see the option to switch languages. However, I would like the option to be in the top bar, next to the three lines that bring the user to the menue options.
I'm not sure if I have explained that well, but do you understand what I mean. Maybe the screenshots help.

I appreciate your help,

Berni

Hi,

Thank you for the screenshots.

There is non option to display the language switcher where you are trying to show but if you really want to do this you can create custom language switcher and show it wherever you want:
1. https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/language-setup/custom-language-switcher/
2. https://wpml.org/tutorials/language-switchers/

In your case, you may have to edit your header.php or menu.php
This fully depends on how the theme was built.
You can ask your theme support.

If you are not familiar with PHP and coding you can consider https://wpml.org/contractors/ as it is a full of custom work which is really out of support scope.

Regards,
Riffaz.
