Background of the issue:
I am trying to manage a single-page website at hidden link using WPML. I have turned off and on the plugin, deleted the menu, and recreated it.
Symptoms:
The language switch is not being saved, and the menu anchor link does not allow the language switch to be saved.
Questions:
Why is the language switch not being saved?
How can I fix the menu anchor link issue with WPML?
I see that you're not using WPML String Translation plugin. Can you please install and activate it and then retry?
Also can you please explain how you're adding the language switcher to the menu? And is there any error in browser console or in PHP when trying to save the switcher? You can enable debugging and try again to log such errors in /wp-content/debug.log file.

I suspect there's a conflict coming from other plugins or may be the theme, because the switcher isn't being saved in WPML in first place. Although the page is translated, which I can see at /en/.
I've created a fresh sandbox site at hidden link (one-click login) with WPML plugins installed and configured, as well as, the Divi theme installed and activated.
Can you please take some time to reproduce the issue in this sandbox site? You don't need to create a full working example, but just a one-page site like yours with test content. The main purpose is to reproduce the same one-pager, with menu, translated and by adding the language switcher.
If it works fine there, then I'll recommend checking in your site with only WPML plugins active. However, please take full backup of your website and database beforehand. It is highly advised to try this on a staging/dev site first, so your live website isn't compromised.

I'm using those plugins in several website and I never had a problem in years so is not a plugin conflict ...
2) I appreciate you have create the sandbox but I don't see the utility ... By the way when I edit the home page in manual mode thewp forcem me to automatic translation ... So mass confuse I never use auto translation in WP never .. so I'm stuck here
Why do we need to replicate the issue can we feed the original website as I did in the past with other support? The purpose you are suggesting me is to redo all the website from scratch basically ... is not a good solution is a waste of time instead to fix the wpml issue

the ticket support didn't help much today wpml seems to work correctly ... the flag menu seems to work and remain ... if more issue happen I'll contact you again ...
