Tell us what you are trying to do? Checking the website how it has been translated unfortunately the flags(english/french) are not showing on the header.

Is there any documentation that you are following? Yes I did follow the documentation but it's very confusing for someone who has a little knowledge with CSS it will be nice to have a video with a step by step

Is there a similar example that we can see?not sure

What is the link to your site?www.owaxparis.com

Hi and thank you for contacting WPML Support!

I will be happy to help you with this.

From what I can see, the theme that you are using is missing from the official WPML-compatible themes directory here (https://wpml.org/documentation/theme-compatibility) so this means that the theme might not be fully compatible with WPML or we might need to use a custom language switcher to get it loaded.

Both options are presented here (https://wpml.org/tutorials/language-switchers/) but I think that you already checked the page from what I can understand.

I would be more than happy to take a look at the site and see if we can get it show.

I would like to request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to your site to take a better look at the issue. You will find the needed fields for this below the comment area when you log in to leave your next reply. The information you will enter is private which means only you and I can see and have access to it.

Our Debugging Procedures

I will be checking various settings in the backend to see if the issue can be resolved. Although I won't be making changes that affect the live site, it is still good practice to backup the site before providing us access. In the event that we do need to debug the site further, I will duplicate the site and work in a separate, local development environment to avoid affecting the live site.

Privacy and Security Policy

We have strict policies regarding privacy and access to your information. Please see:
https://wpml.org/purchase/support-policy/privacy-and-security-when-providing-debug-information-for-support/

**IMPORTANT**

- Please make a backup of the site files and database before providing us access.

- If you do not see the wp-admin/FTP fields this means your post & website login details will be made PUBLIC. DO NOT post your website details unless you see the required wp-admin/FTP fields. If you do not, please ask me to enable the private box.

The private box looks like this: hidden link

I will be waiting for your response.

Kind regards,
Mihai Apetrei

Hi and thank you for the credentials - I can confirm that they work.

I will spend more time on this and I will get back to you as soon as I have more feedback.

I will leave the ticket assigned to myself for the moment.

Kind regards,
Mihai

Hi and thank you for your patience.

I checked a couple of things trying to find out what's the reason for the language switcher not showing up.

It seems that there is no language switcher set up at the moment.

If you go here (hidden link) and scroll down to the language switcher, that's from where you should create a language switcher (I will also attach a screenshot with that section).

Here is also the documentation that you would need to take a look at if you want so that you can see how you can simply enable the language switcher:
https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/language-setup/language-switcher-options/.

Please let me know how that goes. That should be all that you need.

Kind regards,
Mihai

Hi.

From what I can see, the top area is a custom position coded inside the theme that you are using so you would have to use this method here to display it in a different position (https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/language-setup/language-switcher-options/#using-php-actions).

For a custom feature like this, you would need to contact a WPML Contractor from our Contractors list here: https://wpml.org/contractors or work with a developer as our support policy doesn't allow us to do custom coding work.

Kind regards,
Mihai
