I am trying to: Translate a blog with article to malay and chinese. But its seems like the language switcher not working as expected. Not only that, I found that some text in that particular page wont show in Translate Language list. Image is provided below.

Link to a page where the issue can be seen: hidden link

I expected to see: Dropdown with multiple language

Instead, I got: Only one language available even I enabled malay and chinese language

Hello,

Thank you for contacting WPML Support. I will be glad to help with this.

I suspect you have set WPML to not show language switchers for untranslated content, this can be done in WPML->Languages, then you have only completed the translation for Chinese, that's why I only have Chinese in the attached screenshot.

Unfortunately, without more details about your site, I can only guess, can you please paste your WPML Debug information in the Debug information field?

Hello,

Thank you for your feedback. Before we investigate this issue further, could you make sure your server conforms to our minimum requirements?
https://wpml.org/home/minimum-requirements/

Based on the provided debug information, I can see the following - WP Memory Limit: 40M.

Specifically, could you set WP Memory limit to at least 256MB and then let me know if this fixed your issue?
https://codex.wordpress.org/Editing_wp-config.php#Increasing_memory_allocated_to_PHP

If unsure on how to set this, you can consult your host/server admin to do this. After you increase this value, you can confirm it by checking on WPML->Support by finding the “Memory limit” value.

Go to WPML->Support->Troubleshooting and clear the WPML cache.

If this does not resolve the issue, please allow me temporary access to your backend for further checking.

Best regards,
Jamal

Hello,

Of course, I will do my best to help you with this issue too. However, for support rules, we are able to handle only one issue at the time. This helps us to bring you a better service and also help other users to find all the information here exposed.

For that reason I have splitted this ticket into a new one and i will be posting my answers there.

If you think that the language switcher issue is resolved, please mark this ticket as resolved, if you still need assistance with that issue, let me know.

Best regards,
Jamal
