I've got another ticket on the line, but there's an other problem....

I am trying to: Add a language switcher ti the Main Menu

Link to a page where the issue can be seen: hidden link

I expected to see: The switcher (drop down)

Instead, I got: The language switcher only works fine with Safari. (But it's way too wide there.) All other browsers only show the default language, another language is not offered.

I have tried https://wpml.org/forums/topic/switcher-not-displayed/ and also https://wpml.org/forums/topic/language-switcher-not-appearing-on-homepage/
Both didn't work

Hi There,

i currently cannot reproduce this issue with a clean environment, if possible please verify your access details as i am not able to access the site's backend and at the moment i can only see the top header switcher and not the menu in both chrome and safari.

Also please do note that at the moment this seems to be a potential compatibility issue but we will need to further test it to determine what is causing this behavior.

(please make sure to update your theme to its latest version if its not already)

Hi There,

I currently can see that my colleague is working on the issues mentioned in the above reply in the following ticket

https://wpml.org/de/forums/topic/woocommerce-shop-probleme-mit-string-translation-custom-tabs-etc/

as we try to keep each ticket to one issue if possible please continue there and regarding the original ticket in this thread , i understand the top header switcher is working , if this is an acceptable solution we can mark this issue as resolved if not please let me know and i can create a testing environment to further test the issue

Yes - it's an acceptable solution. 🙂
