Hi,
I am trying to: translate the widgetised home page (genesis theme)

Link to a page where the issue can be seen: hidden link & hidden link

I expected to see: see attachment what I got

Instead, I got: see attachment I expected to see
Things look more compressed or aligned to the left

Kind regards,
Dominic

Hi,

As agreed, let us test this and escalate to compatibility team.

I have installed WPML here and all I need you to do is the following:
- configure WPML wizard so that the languages are the same they are on your site (don't bother with anything else)
- install your theme there
- I believe that we only need 1-2 widget areas, you can add some sample content, no need to set it up all
- since we identified the issue that when you're using for example widget in another language, that CSS for other containers remain as if all widget areas are filled in, set for example 2 widgets in one language and one widget in another one

So you don't have to clone your site or do any of that - just the basic theme setup with 1-2 widget areas being filled. That will give us enough information before it gets escalated to compatibility team.

Bruno Kos

Hi,

Our compatibility team has worked on this, but I'm not sure if they will be able to resolve because the issue is coming from the way how Academy Pro handles the widget count on the homepage, which is not compatible with a way how WPML works.

I will keep you posted if they find some solution.

Bruno Kos

Hi,

I am letting you know that it will definitely not work, so CSS is the only way to go.

Hi Bruno,

Are you going to contact Academy pro regarding this issue so that they can handle this in a future update of the theme?

Thank you

Kind regards,
Dominic
