I am trying to: translate the mailchimp text in the footer saying "Subscribe to our newsletter and stay informed on our latest news!", "Your email address" and "Subscribe"

Link to a page where the issue can be seen: hidden link

I didn't find the translation in the strings.

Thank you!

Thank you for contacting WPML support. I'll be happy to help you with this.

We recently released a bridge plugin that will allow you to translate the Mailchimp for WordPress strings. Please visit hidden link and download the link there.

Please let me know if you need any further assistance and I will be happy to help.

Hello Laurent,

Thank you for your reply.

I tried to upload the plugin called 'mailchimp-for-wordpress' but it doesn't seem to work for me. I couldn't find the strings into the WPML String translation and I can't directly translate the form into the Mailchimp plugin.

Can you please provide me further assistance.

I would like to request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to your site to take better look at the issue. You will find the needed fields for this below the comment area when you log in to leave your next reply. The information you will enter is private which means only you and I can see and have access to it.

Our Debugging Procedures

I will be checking various settings in the backend to see if the issue can be resolved. Although I won't be making changes that affect the live site, it is still good practice to backup the site before providing us access. In the event that we do need to debug the site further, I will duplicate the site and work in a separate, local development environment to avoid affecting the live site.

Privacy and Security Policy

We have strict policies regarding privacy and access to your information. Please see:

- Please make a backup of site files and database before providing us access.

- If you do not see the wp-admin/FTP fields this means your post & website login details will be made PUBLIC. DO NOT post your website details unless you see the required wp-admin/FTP fields. If you do not, please ask me to enable the private box. The private box looks like this: hidden link

Thanks for sending credentials. It looks like the mailchimp for WordPress bridge has not quite been released, but it should be very soon. In the meantime, please try this workaround from this similar ticket:

To send the MailChimp for WordPress ( form to translation, please do the following.
1. Go to WPML -> Translation Management and filter the results to show the Sign-up Form.
2. Select the form and press the 'Add to translation basket' button.
3. Press the Translation Basket tab and press 'Send all items for translation.'
4. Go to WPML -> Translations and translate this form by pressing the 'Take and translate' button.
Note: You will need to assign to yourself language pairs in WPML -> Translation Management -> Translators (tab).
Please read our documentations about the Translation Management section.

Please let me know if this resolves the issue for you. Thanks!
