Hi WPML,
We're moving our site, and in the transition, some of the pages have been connected to source languages that are not our main source language (EN). Some pages have been linked to a Chinese source language. Others are linked to Russian. This is happening in our staging area, not available to the public, so here's an example:

site.com/home (EN)
site.com/fr/home (FR translation) is linked to site.com/ru/home (RU translation of EN source).

There is a second issue.

For other pages, I think what happened is that the techs checked that the page is the original language, although it is a translation. Is there a way to change that?

Thank you for your help!
Christina

Hello Christina,

Welcome to WPML support forum.

It seems that you are having some issues migrating your site. However, this forum is intended for how to questions:
https://wpml.org/documentation/support/accounts-for-wpml-end-users/

I recommend you to move your site using a plugin for that, for example Duplicator or All in one migration:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicator/
https://wordpress.org/plugins/all-in-one-wp-migration/

For your second question, you can change your pages and posts languages directly from the editing page as shows the screenshot.

Best regards,
Andrés

Hi Andés,
I don't need to change the current language. I need to change the source page/language. In the screenshot below, the translated language is Tagalog, which is correct. The page chosen as the source is Arabic, and it should be English. How do I fix that?

Hello Cristina,

You could try the following:
- In the "This is a translation of" dropdown, select Empty.
- Save your page.
- Do the same for all the translations.
- Open the previous dropdown and select a different source post.
If this does not work, I'm afraid you will need to modify your database which is beyond of the scope of this forum.
