Hi, I have a site with the Divi theme and different domain/language.
When I insert a picture (ex. hidden link) on any Divi's module and I translate the page in german, I should have the image URL automatically linked to the german domain (in this case hidden link).

Instead the same .com image will be used in both translations, causing a lot of cross domain problems.

Here a screencast

Hi,

Thank you for contacting us.

This seems to me to be the default behavior. The links point to the same URL. If you want to have two different URLs, you should have to upload a new image in the secondary language.

Anyway, I'm going to contact 2nd tier support to ask about this. I'll contact you soon.

Thank you.

Hi, it wasn't like this before, and it maks no sense.
Why we install the WPML Media Translation plugin if then WPML don't use the duplicated/translated images?

Thanks

Hi,

Thank you for the feedback. As I explained before, this seems to me to be normal because the URL in the secondary language is being copied from the default language.

That is, they are values being copied between the default language and the secondary language. In order to have the URL different, it should be necessary to configure the image for the secondary language (removing the secondary language image and adding/selecting the image again, for example).

Note that I've already forwarded this question to 2nd tier support so they can check it out. This may be a compatibility problem or even a new feature to add.

Once the 2nd tier support answers me about it, I'll keep you informed.

Thank you.

Hi any news on this matter?

It's causing me a lot of problem, especially with Safari, as it doesn't like when a page send too many URL requests to a different domain.

Thanks

Hello,

This issue you are reporting now does not seem to be related to the issue you reported earlier on the URL of the images from different domains.

About the issue you mentioned initially, this has already been referred to our developers. Infinitely, at the moment we do not have a deadline when this is going to be fixed. Note, however, that our developers are aware of this.

Thank you.
