I am trying to: add the dropdown flag only to main menu

Link to a page where the issue can be seen: hidden link

I expected to see: the flags dropdown vertically one below the other

Instead, I got: the flags only appear of to the right

Hi,

Thank you for contacting WPML support. It seems you are using custom language switcher in your site header that coming from your theme or some plugin that causing issue. Could you please try to add language switcher from WPML >> Languages >> Menu language switcher / Widget language switcher.

Here is doc for more details:
https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/language-setup/language-switcher-options/

If still issue persists:
- Please check for a possible theme and plugin conflict. To do that you can switch back to any default theme (e.g. Twenty Seventeen theme), Disable all plugins except WPML and see if this issue goes away with default theme and only WPML activated?

- Please add the debug report in the Debug Information box. I have also enabled debug info box for your next reply: https://wpml.org/faq/provide-debug-information-faster-support/

Thank you

The theme Ituza (hidden link) does not come with multi-laguage support. so this is confusing as what you are seeing in the added wpml switcher on the dropdown menu. let me know.

Do you think the following is causing an issue?
the site keep prompting me to install the following 2 plugins that can't be found.

To easily translate Visual Composer, you need to add the following WPML components:
1) WPML Translation Management (Install | Download)
2) WPML String Translation (Install | Download)

These 2 plugins don't seem to exist. Is there a replacement for them?

Hi,

Do you think the following is causing an issue?
>> No, these 2 plugins are used for translation purposes. Language switcher comes with WPML Multilingual CMS plugin.

If your theme is not fully compatible with WPML, you can also try to use custom language switcher:
https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/language-setup/custom-language-switcher/

- Please note WPML Translation Management and WPML String Translation is not included in the Blog license, so you will need to upgrade if you want to translate Theme Options, logo or any other strings using interface: https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/string-translation/

Here you can see plugin list that are included in Blog and CMS packages:
https://wpml.org/documentation/wpml-core-and-add-on-plugins/

You can see price inside your account using upgrade license button.

For more information:
https://wpml.org/purchase/
https://wpml.org/documentation/wpml-core-and-add-on-plugins/

Please let me know if this resolves your issue or you need further assistance with this issue.

Thank you
