I am trying to translate a Elementor Form with String translation.
I've got the same issue as here : https://wpml.org/forums/topic/translating-acceptance-text-on-elementor-form/
You suggest to disativate the String translation. I don't want to do that.
I want to know how to manually add (via functions.php) any forgetten field from elementor, in this case : accept_field

Link to a page where the issue can be seen:
hidden link

I expected to see "Je souhaite télécharger gratuitement la brochure et rester en contact avec Alaya" translated into english "I want to download the free guide and stay updated through Alaya’s newsletter"

Instead, I got the text in french in my english and german page.

See screenshots. You will see in screenshot that the acceptance_text field doesn't appear in String Translation.

Hello,
Thank you for contacting WPML support.

1.- I visited the similar link you provided (https://wpml.org/forums/topic/translating-acceptance-text-on-elementor-form/) and I can't find where it recommends to deactivate String Translation plugin. However the solution I see is to manually translate that page and add the translation manually. See the solution in this message: https://wpml.org/forums/topic/translating-acceptance-text-on-elementor-form/#post-2143739

Could you confirm that you are able to manually translate this page and the acceptance element?

2.- Please update all outdated plugins and themes, specially WPML plugins, to their latest version. Outdated functionalities can cause conflicts in the code.

Kind regards,
Carlos

Hello,

This is a quick and dirty solution. Why I cannot see the acceptance_field in string translation ?

Hi there,

Unfortunately this part of the element can't be mapped yet with WPML, which means that can't be show correctly in the Translation Editor, that's why the solution is to manually translate it.

Regards,
Carlos
