Hi!

Thank you for contacting WPML Support.

To translate the strings in your screenshot please go WPML -> String Translation and click the option "translate texts in admin screens at the bottom of the page.

You will need to search for the domain that includes the strings you are looking for. It may take a while but once you have enlarged for example the domain for your theme options you might find the string related to the copyright by simply typing the keyword "copyright" inside your browser search console (Ctr+F on Windows).

Once you located the strings mark the checkbox and click apply at the bottom of the page. The string will be available after on String Translation inside the first row of the screen. YOu can indicate it further with the domain admin_texts_example.

Please let me know if you need any further assistance.

Kind regards
Andreas

Hi!

I would like to request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to your site to take a better look at the issue. It would be better to a testing site where the issue is replicated.

You will find the needed fields for this below the comment area when you log in to leave your next reply. The information you will enter is private which means only you and I can see and have access to it.

Maybe I'll need to replicate your site locally. For this, I’ll need to temporarily install a plugin called “Duplicator” on your site. This will allow me to create a copy of your site and your content. Once the problem is resolved I will delete the local site. Let me know if this is ok with you.

IMPORTANT

Please make a backup of site files and database before providing us access.
If you do not see the wp-admin/FTP fields this means your post & website login details will be made PUBLIC. DO NOT post your website details unless you see the required wp-admin/FTP fields. If you do not, please ask me to enable the private box. The private box looks like this:

Hi!

Thank you for providing access.

The strings you are referring to need to be translated on String Translation. You will need to search and add the strings by using the option "translate text in admin screens".

I been able to find further strings referring to the footer section (Copyright, etc) and also strings that refer to the account section.

Once the strings are added you will be able to find them under the respective domains with the suffix admin_texts.

Please let me know if this solved your issue.

Kind regards
Andreas

Hi Andres,

I am sorry but this is the first time using WPML and I am really confused , I followed your instructions but found my self able to translate one string only (Logout).
I would require more help (for dummies style) maybe step by step. or live chat.

Hi!

After having a look at your website again I realized that there is an issue about the footer copyright text. This text was edited inside the the Theme options by using the Footer Copyright text option inside of the Theme Customize.

I was able to locate the string inside of the option of admin texts at String Translation. Sadly this string is not translatable.

Further, I found the string for "logout" which you translated. It is part of the Theme and registered under the domain "businesslounge". Sadly it was not possible to locate further strings for the account section element which means that this Theme is most likely not WPML ready.

We will need to escalate this issue to our compatibility team who will reach out to the theme authors in order to work together on making their theme compatible with WPML. In case you are in contact with the theme authors of the Business Lounge Theme you might invite them to join our GoGlobal Program.

https://wpml.org/documentation/theme-compatibility/go-global-program/

It would be very helpful if you could recreate the issue in a simple way on this test site, so that our compatibility team can make themselves a picture of the situation. Please add your theme and any additional plugin you used to create your layout.

One Click Login:hidden link

Please let me know as soon you included the theme and plugins for recreation of the issue.

Kind regards
Andreas

Dear Andre,

First of all , thank you for taking the time supporting me.
actually ,I am a freelancer helping this website with translation. I am not the developer who created the website in the beginning so I do not have the raw files.
I would recommend one thing to recreate the issue on the testing website.
I can share the full backup done by Duplicator plugin and you can then install it on the test website. If this is possible.

Thanks

Hi!

I have just sent you a private message with instruction for migrating your website to our test server.

I also searched again on String Translation and inside the Theme Options (admin texts) for the string of the account section but I was not able to locate them. We are possibly handling a compatibility issue here and as soon the site is migrated I will escalate this issue to our compatibility team who will reach out to the theme authors in order to solve the issue.

Please write me a short message as soon the site is migrated.

Kind regards,
Andreas

Hi!

I received feedback regarding your issue from our compatibility team.

It appears that you are using a custom theme which is outside of our support scope. We were able to locate the follwoing strings but as it is not wrapped inside a GetText call it is impossible for WPML to translate it.

The "Dear customer..." string is hardcoded in the child theme and not properly localized:
/sanphorus-child/sanphorus-child\functions.php

// Add note for payments and shipping in cart page //
function add_note_in_top_of_cart(){
    echo '<div class="note_in_top_of_cart">NOTE: Dear Customer, currently the online payment is not active. After placing your order, we will contact you to make an agreement about the payment method.
</br>Thank You!</div>';
}
add_action( 'woocommerce_before_cart', 'add_note_in_top_of_cart', 10, 0 );

Please also do have a look into the following documentations for more questions on this topic:

The copyright text has to be added from the Admin Texts Screen in String Translation. It is in : [theme_mods_sanphorus-child][businesslounge_copyright].

If you wish to provide access again I could try to set up the copyright text for you again. For any further issue I would kindly like to ask you to contact the theme authors.

Please let me know if you need any further assistance.

Kind regards
Andreas
