Hello

I'd like to move the language switcher in the main menu to the 2nd last position. Is this possible? and if yes, how?

Thanks for the help.
Dominic

Hi there,

Thank you for contacting us. I will try my best to help you here.

The Language switcher menu options are controlled from the WPML -> Languages page by scrolling to the “Menu language switcher” section then editing the language switcher you want. The only supported position for the switcher is “First menu item” and “Last menu item.”

However, using custom CSS, you might be able to change the position of the language switcher. The exact CSS depends on your theme and site structure. I recommend checking with your theme provider or contacting a WPML contractor from https://wpml.org/contractors/ to get more help on the custom CSS for changing the menu item location.

You can also Insert WPML Shortcode in a specific place in the theme code to output it on the menu position you want, as explained in the next link. However, for this approach, too, you will need custom coding help.
