Hi, I know my plugin is not fully compatible with WPML. But the normal 'duplicate post' doesn't keep an connection with the original post. Is there a fix or another recommended plugin? thanks |

Hello, how are you currently pushing your translations ? translations are saved in the database and each page/post has an id then the translations are connected using that id, and that is how WPML and WP knows which page or post is connected essentially we usually recommend WP ALL IMPORT/EXPORT for this purpose as we have worked with them to make it compatible with WPML => https://wpml.org/documentation/related-projects/wpml-all-import-plugin-website-import-with-wpml/ |

Hi, I'm using a plugin called "multisite duplicate post". This plugin allows me to maintain 1 main website and whenever I change something there it will adapt the same product in several other websites. I think WP ALL IMPORT/EXPORT is a viable option if i only had to push once. Is there another possibility to become this result? It's a project that could go up to 20 websites i think, so whenever i make a minor change on a product i have to import it in 20 websites. I'm looking for something more dynamic. |

While there are API hooks that can be used to create custom code to automatically duplicate content within one site, I am not aware of any way to do this across multiple websites. You can feel free to review our available API hooks here: https://wpml.org/documentation/support/wpml-coding-api/wpml-hooks-reference/ At this point I would suggest you consider contacting one of our certified partners from this link: http://wpml.org/documentation/support/wpml-contractors/ as they will be able to help you customize your site and achieve what you would like to do. |
