This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:

I'm using the Elementor Hello Child theme for my Microsite development.
After adding the language switcher to the menu, I change the setting but it didn't work accordingly.

Solution:

1. Go to Appearance -> Customize -> Additianal CSS.

2. Add the following CSS and press Publish.

.wpml-ls-legacy-dropdown a {
    border: none;
    background-color: transparent;
}
.wpml-ls-legacy-dropdown a:hover, .wpml-ls-legacy-dropdown a:focus, .wpml-ls-legacy-dropdown .wpml-ls-current-language:hover>a {
    background: transparent;
}

I'm using Elementor Hello Child theme for my Microsite development.
After adding the langauge switch to menu, I change the setting but it didn't work accordingly.

I am trying to: Rollover the language, the text not changing to red, the language text alignment can't set to align left.

The mini dropdown arrow icon missing although I pasted in the CSS code found from another thread.

The link: hidden link

Hi.

This is what I see when I check your site now. Please see the attached screenshot. It is not the same as you show on the attached screenshot.
Have you fixed this problem already?

I've checked how the drop-down menu Language Switcher is acting with the Hello theme on my test site, and I cannot see the problem that you describe. Please see the attached screenshot hello-ok-on-test.jpg.

You mention that you use a CSS code from another thread.
Can you please add here the code that you are using and share with me the link to the other ticket?
Please also explain why you are using this code.

Thanks,
Itamar.

Hi

I manage to figure out how to add the language switcher not into the menu cause the menu CSS will overwrite it thus when you rollover the red background also apply on the language switcher.

Now I add the language switcher into widget and add it next to menu.

Can you guide me how do I make the language dropdown background transparent and no border. I'm not good in manual CSS code.
