Tell us what you are trying to do?
I'm wanting to collate 10+ websites into a new single multisite instance but only some of my sites require multilingual functionality - using WPML. I want to be sure that I can have a single instance where I can manage all of my related sites in a single place without having to compromise the languages available.

It's likely to follow this structure:

UK (English)
Germany (German)
French (French)
Belgium (Dutch & French)
Wales (Welsh & English)

etc.

Is this something I should easily be able to do from Multisite setup?

Hello,

"When you run WordPress in Multisite Mode, you can enable WPML as a network plugin or per individual child blog."

you can find our official documentation on multisites here
