[Resolved] My shop page is translated but Falls back to original Language
This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem: The client's Italian shop page was reverting to English when accessed from the menu, despite all pages being translated. The issue persisted even after updating WPML and verifying settings.
Solution: 1. We confirmed that the Italian shop page translation was complete and published. 2. We updated the WPML Multilingual CMS plugin from version 4.9.5 to 4.9.6 to address a known redirect issue. 3. We refreshed permalink settings without changing any options and saved the changes. 4. We adjusted the menu link in the WordPress menu settings by changing the custom link to point directly to the Italian shop page URL. 5. We ensured that the 'Tutti' menu item linked correctly to the '/it/prodotti/' URL.
If this solution does not resolve your issue, or if it seems outdated or irrelevant to your case, we recommend opening a new support ticket. We also advise checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. Hello,
My name is Carlos, and I will continue working on this ticket
I visited the hidden link URL, and I can see it is correctly displaying the products in Italian, so I will assume this issue is already solved.
Regarding the filters, I can see that the sidebar is not showing the filters for the Italian products.
1.- Please describe step by step how to edit the filters in English (the original language) so I can have a better understanding of their configuration.
Share a URL where the filters can be edited that we can use as a reference.
2.- Also, I kindly ask you to share the access credentials to the site in your next message, as I have set it to private. This will allow me to reproduce the issue in the URL shared following the steps described in the previous point. It will also allow me to double-check the WPML configuration.
Confirm that you have created a full site backup that you can restore if necessary.
Looking forward to your message.
Best regards,
Carlos
Very strange, because I have answered to you the same Day as your first answer, but now I dont see my answer.
I have an issue with Filter Everything. Filter in English Version are working, while in Italian not. The filter is in the pop up on the shop page hidden link or hidden link. In English the configuration is : filtering WordPress pages-Products-Main Query, while Italian is not having this set.
Also another issue is that on WP Consent plugin the banner is missing the buttons text, while I have already translated them.
In the video you can see, I choose for the Italian the same settings as per English, I push update, and the settings fall back. The filter is not working.
