My thumbnails images sometimes appear twice one above the other.
I've contacted my theme editor (tramwell) who told me the problem was due to some WPML media translation.
He said :
You have 2 problems here, duplicated images and wrong image source code:
<img src="data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7">

due to WPML.

Thanks for your help !

Thank you for contacting us.

So that I can check what may be happening, I'll need to request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to your site - preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible - in order to be of better help.

You will find the needed fields for this below the comment area when you log in to leave your next reply. The information you will enter is private which means only you and I can see and have access to it.

Note:

*** Please let me know exactly what steps should I follow to see the problem.

*** Please, can I install the Duplicator plugin (or All in One Migration) to make a copy of your site and install it on my test environment? This will help me debug the problem.

*** Note: Please make a full backup of your site.

Thank you.

Hi,

Thank you. In my test environment, even with all WPML plugins disabled, the problem persists.

This does not seem to be a bug with WPML. This seems to be a compatibility issue with your theme and the cache plugin you are using.

In SG Optimizer > Image Optimization, I deactivated the "Lazy Load Thumbnails" feature and the problem was solved.

That is, this is not related to WPML, nor to WPML Media, which filters in which language an image will be displayed. This is related to your cache plugin and theme. Please, let me know if your website is now being displayed correctly.

Please, let me know if I can help with any other questions you may have about it. I'll be happy to help.

Thank you.
