This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem: Client needs to import translations made by a third person into WPML

Solution: The third person could get assigned as translator inside of the Translation Management in oder to translate the content on the site directly. https://wpml.org/documentation/translating-your-contents/

On the other hand, in order to import the translation you will need to use the premium plugin WP All Import together with our WPML All Import add-on. You will need to create two CSV files for the translations and assigning the same identifier for each string.

In order to use WPML All Import the purchase of WP All Import is mandatory: http://www.wpallimport.com/

Hi there,
A friend has translated some English articles to Mandarin for me that I want to add to my site, but when I enter the translation editor, I'm forced to add the translation line by line, rather than all at once. Because it is in Mandarin, I have no idea which line is which, and my friend may have even changed the content to better appeal to the Chinese market. Using WPML, how can I add a translation all at once ... i.e. copy and paste it from Word?

Thanks and have a great day!

Tony

Hello,

Thank you for your message.

I would suggest you to create a translator on Translation Management for your friend and ask him/her to translate directly with WPML.

On the other hand, in order to import the translation you will need to use the premium plugin WP All Import together with our WPML All Import add-on.
