Tell us what you are trying to do?
We have a script for a form that we run on our page that depends on a URL parameter of "language" instead of "lang" if it is to automatically switch its language. We watch to customize WPML to add "?language=de" for a German page instead of "?lang=de". Or, if it could display "?lang=de&language=de" , that would work as well.

Is there any documentation that you are following?

Is there a similar example that we can see?

What is the link to your site?
It is not public facing at this time. hidden link
