Welcome to WPML Support forum.

Have you tried updating your profile settings? If not, Please edit your profile (click Edit My Profile link on top right corner of admin dashboard). Then set the 'Language' option to English. Click 'Update Profile. And be sure that the option 'Set admin language as editing language.' is not selected.

Does it help? Please let me know.

Also, could you please share your Debug information with me? You can read the detailed explanation about it here.

The debug info will give me a lot of information about how your site is configured and will help me understand the source of the problem.

Kind regards,

Hi Dennis,

Thanks for your reply.

I have changed the profile setting as advised above.

But I can't when I switch to view Chinese content on the backend, the admin panel will still have some Chinese translation.

How can I make it fully viewing the CMS panel in English only?

Pls advise. Thanks!

Thank you for your updates.

Could you please check if this issue occurs when:

- All non WPML Plugins are disabled. It will tell us if there is an interaction issue with other plugin.
- Theme is set to a WordPress default like Twenty Sixteen. Its will tell us if there is an interaction issue with your theme.
- If the problem disappears, start activating one at the time to track where the incompatibility is produced.

Note: Please backup your site completely before doing this test.

Please share to me your results on the above test.

Thank you.

Kind regards,
