I am trying to: Translations of "German market checkout options" on pages "my account", "checkout page 1" and "checkout page 2" (6 relevant strings) are not shown anymore though strings are translated. So I deleted the strings & translations and translated them new but nothing happens.

Link to a page where the issue can be seen:
Example: hidden link - go to "Login/Register": checkbox text to confirm privacy policy is in DE instead of EN.

Same with the checkbox texts on the checkout page

I expected to see: English translation

Instead, I got:The German text though the strings are already translated and the translation worked for month.

Thank you for the provided details. I took a detailed look in your website using the migrated copy, unfortunately the issue still persists, I noticed even with a default WordPress theme the German Market plugin string still shows in the default language, this is why I need to take a detailed investigation on it in order to confirm a possible new compatibility issue. Just as additional Info: I have meanwhile also tested WooCommerce germanised which has the same checkout box functions functions like German Market and there was the same problem.
Then, I have deactivated & deleted the current versions of German Market, WooCommerce and WPML and reinstalled the old versions. Now, I have the translations back.
However, when I step by step update the WPML Plugins, it seems to be the latest version of the WPML Multilingual CMS which does not seem to be compatibel with German Market (and WooCommerce germanised).

Thank you for the updates and sorry for the waiting here due the weekend. I proceeded with some more investigations and noticed the German Market plugin is indeed compatible with recent versions of WPML as you can confirm at:

Hello Nina,

Thank you for your patience while waiting for a solution. After a bit more of investigation efforts I noticed the issue actually is in your localization settings, please, make sure the 'Assume that the original language of all strings is English' option is unchecked in your WordPress Dashboard > WPML > Theme and plugins localization > Localization options > Other options settings. You can see the result of this troubleshootin at: hidden link. Don't forget to disable any browser or server side cache in order to see the changes.
