Hello,
I have a website actually with old WP version (actually 3.6.1), I'd like to upgrate to current 5.1.1 versione but I've old qTranslate (the old qTranslate version 2.5.37).
The main language of the site is Italian and the second is English.
I've some hundred posts and a lot of medias attached.
I already work with WPML in other website and I would like to upgrade this website to latest wordpress version and migrate it to WPML without losing all my posts, media, ecc in Italian and all English translations.

So:
- first of all I migrated the website in local using Duplicator plugin.
- then I upgraded to latest wordpress version
- I installed "qTranslate X Cleanup and WPML Import" and followed instructions, but when the import finish I find all my posts in Italian (main language), I mean all posts in Italian are correctly in Italian, but also all the English translation posts are now in Italian and I lost all the connections between posts in Italian and posts in English. And those are too many to connect all them manually now...

Can you help me?

Hi,

Thank you for contacting WPML support!

Before we investigate this issue further, could you make sure your server conforms to our minimum requirements?
https://wpml.org/home/minimum-requirements/

Based on provided debug information, I can see the following - WP Memory Limit: 40M.

Specifically, could you set WP Memory limit to at least 256MB and then let me know if this fixed your issue?
https://codex.wordpress.org/Editing_wp-config.php#Increasing_memory_allocated_to_PHP

Also, let me give some useful links with answers on how to work with the plugin and potentially troubleshoot some of the issues:
