I think the title is self-explanatory.
There is another thread, this one: with a bit of a wacky solution.
It is, of course, a no go to change the code in the plugin itself to not lose these customizations when an update is released.

Just a few minutes ago I updated to 1.5.0 and ...... lost the customizations.

Why is this fix not in this release?

I recommend you fix it now!

Thanks for contacting WPML support!

When there's no one to pick up the chat session, it turns into a ticket.

I have checked the development ticket for the issue described here and I can see our development team is still working on it.

Currently, you have to apply the fixes from this ticket

Sorry for the inconvenience!

I know and I am using the solution provided in the ticket you mentioned.
I am only puzzled by the fact that such a minor change was not done yet when the 1.5.0 was released. That was yesterday while the issue is known since 2019, January 2th.

So, with the 1.5.0 release, I lost this customization. I hate it when I have to fiddle with the plugin code. Ok, it is all minor because nothing 'breaks' when this one string is not translated but it looks not as professional as it could.

I do hope the dev team will push out an update shortly.

I do understand your frustration. And I requested from our developers to try to implement this change in the upcoming release.

Hello, when will this fix be implemented into the Gravity Forms add-on? It's been several months.

It's been several… months. Is there any news?
