Dear WPML Support,

I am extremely unhappy with how the site is currently behaving with WPML.

Several plugins have stopped working properly on the English side of the website, particularly the Divi Engine Filter Module and Search Module. In addition, templates in both English and Arabic are not displaying correctly.

This is a live website, and these issues are seriously affecting functionality and user experience.

I want to be clear: I am not looking for documentation or tutorial links. I have already reviewed them extensively, and many are outdated or not applicable. I need direct technical support to identify and resolve the root cause of these conflicts.

If this issue is not resolved, I will seriously reconsider renewing WPML.

Please treat this as urgent and provide a concrete solution.

Best regards,

Hello again,

1.- I kindly ask you to describe step-by-step how to reproduce the issue so I can have a better understanding. You can share URLs, attach screenshots, or share a link to a video (you can create it for free with Loom or Kommodo), reproducing the problem.

2.- Please increase the WP memory Limit. Minimum requirements are 128Mb: https://wpml.org/home/minimum-requirements/
You can add this to wp-config.php to increase WP memory:

/* Memory Limit */
define('WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '256M');

- Add it above the line /* That's all, stop editing! Happy blogging. */

You can double-check the WordPress memory limit in WPML -> Support

Looking forward to your message.
Regards,
Carlos

Hi there,
Thank you very much for sharing the video.

Please, share the access credentials to the site in your next message, which I have set private. This will allow me to reproduce the issues in the video and double-check the WPML configuration.

Confirm you have created a full site backup that you can restore if necessary.

Thank you for adding the administrator role to the user.

I fixed an issue in the database's languages table and ran some troubleshooting steps. Then I disabled the redirection, and I can now see the homepage correctly.

I kindly ask you to confirm that the homepage issue was solved and to check if the other problems are also solved.

Hi,
Thank you very much for your message.

I created a video describing the steps I followed: hidden link and I kindly ask you to follow the steps I suggested on it.

Looking forward to your feedback.

Hi,

I followed the suggested steps, but the issue still persists.

Here is a clear description of the problem:

When WPML is enabled, accessing:
hidden link
results in a “Page not found” or incorrect behavior.
When I disable WPML:
The homepage loads correctly.
It shows the Arabic version as expected (Arabic is the default language).
English is set as a secondary language.

This issue started recently (over the weekend). The site was previously working correctly, and no changes were made to the homepage configuration.

It appears that the homepage (static page) mapping or the default language root URL behavior may be pointing to an incorrect or unsynchronized page ID.

Could you please review:

WPML Debug information
Homepage (static page) configuration
Default language homepage mapping and root URL behavior

I wanted to let you know that I have activated the redirection since we are currently within our business working hours, which run until 4:00 PM Saudi time.

Friday and Saturday are non‑working days for us, so if you need to turn the redirection off during that period to continue your investigation, please feel free to do so.

There are also additional issues related to the template and the header translation. Please advise whether you prefer that I open a separate ticket for those items or continue addressing everything here.

Hi there,
Thank you for your messages

I have consulted my colleagues about this issue, and the best course of action is to create a staging site and run more tests without affecting the production site. I kindly ask you to create a staging site with a copy of the live site (you can use the WP Staging plugin for free) and share the access credentials in your next message, which I have set private.

Looking forward to your message.

Thank you very much for creating the staging site and sharing the credentials.

After running several tests, I decided to escalate this ticket to our 2nd tier of support, where our specialists will take a deeper look at this issue to isolate its cause.

I will get back to you as soon as I get an answer from them.

Please do not modify the staging site, as our 2nd-tier specialists may need to access it and run additional tests.
