This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client is trying to translate a page using the WPML interface, but encounters issues where the interface shows incomplete translation percentages despite all segments appearing translated. Additionally, after saving translations, they revert to untranslated status, and the English version of the page is not visible on the frontend.
Solution:
We recommend the following steps to address the translation issues:
1. Ensure that all links within the content are correctly translated and updated. You can find guidance on translating links using the Advanced Translation Editor (ATE) here: Translating Links with Advanced Translation Editor.
2. If the problem persists, try switching to the previous version of ATE:
- Open the page in ATE.
- Click on the icon in the top right corner.
- Select the option to activate the previous version of ATE.
- Save the changes and fix the translation.
- Save the translation, update it in ATE, and then switch back to the latest version of ATE.
- Verify if the issue is resolved.

If these steps do not resolve the issue or if the solution seems outdated or irrelevant to your case, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If the problem persists, please open a new support ticket.

Background of the issue:
I am trying to translate a page using the 'new' WPML interface. The page is located at hidden link.

Symptoms:
The interface indicates that only 96% of the segments are translated, but all segments I can see on the page appear to be translated.

Questions:
Did I miss something in the translation process?

Thank you for sharing the credentials.

The cause of the issue was a link that was already translated but needed to be updated. Following this guide: https://wpml.org/announcements/2020/02/translating-links-with-advanced-translation-editor/ you can search and translate the links using ATE.

Can you confirm that the issue was solved?

Thank you very much, you did solved my first problem 🙂

However, i would need assistance for another one please:
When the translator translates this page:
hidden link

The interface says it's translated 100% but when i save and comeback, the same field is still to translate.. and the english version of the page is not available on the frontend so.
Maybe there are forced line break in this content field that are a problem?

Any help would be appreciate.

Best regards,
Raphael

PS: "Economiser" is a bad french translation for the "Save" buttons 😉
"Enregistrer" would be much nicer, "Economiser" is confusing..
I'm talking about WPML interface (visible on screenshot)

Hi Raphael,
Thank you very much for your recommendation. I have already sent it to our ATE team 🙂

Regarding the problem with the translation, I would recommend following these steps:
- When translating the page in ATE
- Click on the icon that appears in the top right
- Select the option to activate the previous version of ATE
- Save the changes
- Fix the translation
- Save the translation
- Update the translation in ATE again and activate the latest ATE version
- Double-check if the issue disappeared

Summarizing: Activate the previous ATE version to solve the issue with this untranslated segment and the activate the latest ATE version again.

Could you tell me if the issue disappeared?
