This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem: On the English page https://underwaterlightsusa.com/boat-lights/product-category/buy-boat-lights-online-sea-vision-by-underwater-lights-usa/ There are5 products showing. This is a category page and those 4 products are the only ones assigned to that category. The French version looks correct as well as the Spanish. However, viewing the Italian page shows a lot of extra products that should not be there. When I edit the product to make sure that the "Acquista online" category is not selected. It is not. I don't understand why these extra products that are not assigned to this category are showing only on the Italian page.

Solution: I updated the product_category hierarchy and the issue was fixed.

Hello,
Thank you for contacting WPML support. I will do my best to help you solve this issue.

I would like to ask you to follow this steps:
- Back up your site first before making any change, this is for security reasons.
- Go to Woocommerce -> Woocommerce Multilingual -> Settings tab -> Troubleshooting link (bottom right) -> Sync all products.
- Go to Woocommerce -> Woocommerce Multilingual -> Status tab -> Fix any error message that might exist.

Could you tell me the result of the steps above?

Kind regards,
Carlos

I don't completely understand your directions on this page. See screen capture. Do you want me to check all of the boxes? and then click Start?

Hi there,
I'm sorry if I wasn't clear on my previous message.

Yes, once you are in that page (Woocommerce -> Woocommerce Multilingual -> Settings tab -> Troubleshooting link) select all checkboxes and click start.

Regards,
Carlos

I have done all of the above and I still see too many products displaying on the Italian store page.
hidden link

Compare to the English, French and Spanish which are correct. What should I do next?

I have already checked each extra product and they are not assigned to the "online store" category.

Also, after completing the troubleshooting items and they all say "0 left", if I leave the page and come back the numbers come back for the last two items and they no longer say 0. ???

Hi there,
Thank you very much for your feedback.

In this case I would like to request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to your site to take better look at the issue. You will find the needed fields for this below the comment area when you log in to leave your next reply. The information you will enter is private which means only you and I can see and have access to it.

Our Debugging Procedures

I will be checking various settings in the backend to see if the issue can be resolved. Although I won't be making changes that affect the live site, it is still good practice to backup the site before providing us access. In the event that we do need to debug the site further, I will duplicate the site and work in a separate, local development environment to avoid affecting the live site.

Looking forward to your answer.
Best regards,
Carlos

Hi there,
I'm glad that the issue is fixed 🙂

When I logged in the site the alert message to update the hierarchy of the product categories was at the top of the dashboard.

You can sync the hierarchy of the taxonomies in WPML -> Taxonomy translation

Best regards,
Carlos
